Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the Admithric website and its tools. By using Admithric, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the Platform. Admithric is a student-led, non-profit initiative based in Singapore.

1. About Admithric

Admithric provides free, AI-powered tools to help secondary school students in Singapore prepare for the Early Admissions Exercise (EAE) and Direct School Admission (DSA) processes. Our Platform includes a writeup checker, portfolio idea generator, interview simulator, admissions roadmap tracker, school map, and a community library of contributed writeups and interview questions.

2. Eligibility and Access

Admithric is open to all users and does not require account registration. You access the Platform as a guest. There are no age restrictions on access, though our tools are specifically designed for secondary school students in Singapore preparing for EAE and DSA.

By using the Platform, you represent that you will use it only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms of Use.

3. Intellectual Property

3.1 Admithric's Original Content

All original content on Admithric — including our written EAE and DSA guides, tool interfaces, platform design, and editorial content — is the intellectual property of Admithric and its creators. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, redistribute, or commercially exploit any of this content without our prior written permission.

Personal or educational use is permitted, provided clear credit is given to Admithric and the content is not altered or used for commercial gain.

3.2 Third-Party and Referenced Content

Some content on Admithric references or is sourced from publicly available third-party materials, including:

• DSA-JC and EAE phase timelines and terminology sourced from the Ministry of Education (MOE) Singapore's official guides and the EAE portal
• Links to individual polytechnics' official EAE guides, with their names and sources clearly referenced
• Links to third-party platforms including TikTok videos and Reddit communities and posts, which provide supplementary context

Admithric does not claim ownership over any third-party content. All rights remain with their respective owners. Linked content is provided for informational purposes only and Admithric is not responsible for the accuracy or availability of external resources.

4. Community Library — User Contributions

4.1 Submission and Moderation

Users may voluntarily submit past writeups or interview questions to be considered for inclusion in Admithric's community library. All submissions are sent to Admithric for review. We manually assess each submission before publishing it, and reserve the right to decline, edit for formatting, or withhold any submission at our discretion.

We only accept contributions that are genuinely useful to other students in the context of EAE or DSA preparation. Submissions that do not meet this purpose will not be published.

4.2 Ownership of Contributed Content

You retain ownership of any content you contribute to the community library. By submitting content, you grant Admithric a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to display, reproduce, and share your contribution on the Platform for educational and non-commercial purposes.

All contributions are published anonymously. No identifying information is associated with any published entry. If you wish to have your contribution removed or redacted at any time, contact us at admithric@gmail.com and we will action your request promptly.

4.3 Prohibited Submissions

You must not submit content that:

• Is unrelated to EAE, DSA, or secondary school admissions in Singapore
• Is plagiarised or copied from another person without their consent
• Contains personally identifiable information about yourself or others
• Is offensive, discriminatory, defamatory, or harmful
• Violates any applicable law or third-party rights

Admithric reserves the right to reject or remove any submission that violates these guidelines.

5. AI-Powered Tools — Important Disclaimer

Admithric's writeup checker, portfolio idea generator, and interview simulator are powered by artificial intelligence. These tools are designed to provide general guidance and constructive feedback to help you prepare for the admissions process.

Please be aware of the following:

• AI-generated feedback is not a guarantee of admissions success. Positive feedback from our tools does not mean you will receive an offer from any polytechnic or school.
• Admithric is not a professional admissions consultancy. Our team consists of students, not accredited counsellors, educators, or admissions professionals.
• AI outputs may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete, or not reflective of a specific institution's expectations. Always cross-reference with official polytechnic and MOE guidance.
• You are solely responsible for the final content of any writeup, portfolio, or interview response you submit to an institution.

We provide these tools in good faith to support your preparation, but we disclaim all liability for outcomes resulting from reliance on AI-generated feedback.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use Admithric only for its intended purpose of supporting EAE and DSA preparation. You must not:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract content from the Platform using automated tools
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, copy, or replicate the Platform or its tools
• Submit false, misleading, or harmful content through any tool or the community library
• Use the Platform to harass, deceive, or harm other users or third parties
• Attempt to interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or security
• Use the Platform for any commercial purpose without prior written consent from Admithric

7. Enforcement and Consequences of Misuse

If we determine that you have violated these Terms of Use, Admithric reserves the right to:

• Remove any content you have submitted to the community library
• Block your access to the Platform
• Report your conduct to the relevant authorities where we believe a law has been broken

As a guest-based platform, our ability to enforce these measures is limited, but we take the integrity of our community seriously and will act where we are able to.

8. External Links

Admithric contains links to external websites and resources, including official polytechnic EAE guides, MOE materials, TikTok content, and Reddit communities. These links are provided for convenience and informational purposes only.

We do not endorse, control, or take responsibility for the content, accuracy, or availability of any linked external resource. Accessing external links is at your own discretion and risk.

9. Financial Support

Admithric accepts voluntary contributions through Buy Me a Coffee and PayNow. These are entirely optional and do not grant contributors any special rights, access, or influence over the Platform. All transactions are processed by the respective third-party platforms and are subject to their own terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

Admithric is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, or suitability of any content or tool on the Platform.

As a small, volunteer-run student initiative, we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to the Platform or that it will always be free from errors or technical issues.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Singapore law, Admithric and its team members shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from:

• Your use of or reliance on any content or AI-generated feedback on the Platform
• Any admissions outcome, whether successful or unsuccessful
• Temporary unavailability or technical errors on the Platform
• Content submitted by third parties via the community library

Your use of Admithric is entirely at your own risk.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top. Continued use of the Platform after changes are published constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from your use of Admithric shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
